How TVP handles AI model data

TVP is a comparison and discovery platform. This page explains what its catalog reports, how freshness is communicated, and when a historical change is considered observed.

What TVP reports

TVP retrieves public AI model catalog information from OpenRouter and presents model identifiers, provider coverage, published pricing, context windows, capabilities, and route details where supplied. TVP does not operate the underlying models or set third-party pricing.

Freshness

Live pages and daily history use different evidence

Catalog, model, provider, guide, and comparison pages are generated from a current provider retrieval and display the retrieval timestamp when available. The price-change report stores a separate UTC daily snapshot. A historical change is shown only when the same model identifier differs across two dated snapshots.

A page never treats a missing earlier observation as proof of a price change. A model that is new to the captured catalog is reported as newly observed, not as a price increase or decrease.

Pricing interpretation

How price labels should be read

Input and output price labels reflect the numerical values supplied by the source route and are displayed per one million tokens for readability. A listed price is not a guarantee of route availability, capacity, regional eligibility, taxes, credits, or provider-side promotional terms.

Corrections

How to report a data issue

If a source value is corrected upstream, TVP reflects it on the next successful retrieval. To report a suspected discrepancy, include the TVP page, model identifier, source route, observed value, and timestamp when writing to support@theverificationplatform.com.
